Mixtape: Summer Heat
Hey, babe, I made you a mixtape.
It is that time of the year when everyone complains about the summer heat. It is surprising because it is just the start of March, and from what my childhood tells me, it is not supposed to get this hot. One has to wait for April. But who am I to tell what mother nature has in store for the next few days. Here in Antipolo, hours can drag on at 35 degree weather. What makes it bearable is the food we have at the restaurant near us.
In the afternoons, in the office where I work, the heat gets unbearable, we could not work and we would only just listen to music to pass the two hours of afternoon heat. This is a compilation of some summer songs. Indie rock, punk rock, what-have-you. All of which are meant to make you want to get up on your feet and dance. Enjoy.
